The Divesoft R22D is a galvanic oxygen sensor made for rebreathers. Its hydrophobic membrane protects the cell from the moisture in a breathing loop, which is what makes it suitable for closed circuit use. It is the sensor type specified for the Divesoft Liberty, and it also works in Divesoft analyzers and in other rebreathers and analyzers built for a Molex 3-pin R22D-type cell. Always confirm the cell is approved by your unit manufacturer before installing it.
Molex 3-pin connector, M16x1 thread. Measuring range 0 to 100% oxygen, accuracy ±1% of full scale at constant temperature and pressure. A new cell delivers 7 to 13 mV in air at 25°C and sea level.
Divesoft rates the service life in a rebreather at one to two years depending on use, storage and humidity. Follow the replacement schedule set by your unit manufacturer and training agency, and replace any cell that fails calibration, reads unstable or becomes current limited. Keep unused sensors unopened, ideally refrigerated, until you install them.
Galvanic oxygen sensors start aging on the day they are made, in storage as well as in use, so we list the manufacturing date of every sensor we sell. You will find it in the selector above.
Each sensor is registered under its own serial number and carries a 12-month limited warranty from Divesoft from the date of sale.
