The Apeks DST regulator showcases a unique over-balanced diaphragm design which enhances performance as you dive deeper. This feature causes the intermediate pressure in the hose to increase more rapidly than the ambient pressure, ensuring top-notch performance even at extreme depths. Its body, plated in polished chrome, features a swivel turret with two standard high-pressure ports and four high-flow low-pressure ports for flexible hose configuration. An environmental seal prevents water, ice, silt, and contaminants from entering the main spring chamber, ensuring reliable performance in challenging conditions. Standard with a DIN connector and Nitrox Ready, the DST is designed for divers seeking advanced features and reliability.
When sold separately, individual regulator stages are provided as configured by the manufacturer, and the final setup is the responsibility of the customer. Note that if the 1st stage is purchased as a standalone product, three of the four LP ports will be plugged, and both HP ports will also be plugged.
Apeks regulators come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty for the original owner, provided they undergo annual inspection or service by an AUTHORIZED AQUALUNG AMERICA Dealer. This warranty protects against defects in parts or workmanship for the life of the regulator and includes participation in the Free-Parts-For-Life Program as described on their website.
